Symptoms: Heavy periods, Breast tenderness, Water retention, Headaches, Low libido, and Weight grain

What to do:
◽️The liver plays a critical role in metabolizing and removing excess estrogen from the body and supports it by limiting alcohol & castor oil packs.
◽️Eat Cruciferous veggies to support estrogen metabolism (broccoli, carrots, cauli, Brussels ect)
◽️Increase fiber intake to bind excess estrogen to stool for elimination. (whole grains, fruits and veggies)
◽️An imbalanced gut can lead to reabsorption of estrogen in the intestines. Take probiotics, and limit sugar & processed foods (they feed the bad bacteria in the gut).
◽️Manage stress by allowing rest, try breathwork, and getting 8-10 hours of sleep a night. (Yes 8-10, new studies show a healthy woman needs typically more than 8 hours a night to function at peak capacity).
◽️Herb Allies for estrogen dominance: Vitex + evening primrose
◽️Avoid endocrine disruptors

Think outside of the box ⬜️
It’s more than just practicing meditation, breathwork, and yoga. There are different kinds of “rest” that are all very beneficial.
▪️Physical rest: Stretching, massages, somatic therapy, sleep
▪️Social rest: Alone time, 1:1 with quality people who uplift you, say no more often.
▪️Mental rest: Social media break, brain dump your thoughts/journal, and taking breaks throughout the day in general.
▪️Emotional rest: Say no to things that drain you, stop comparing yourself to others, journal.
▪️Sensory rest: Noise-canceling headphones,(it’s great to sit in silence 15 min a day) red lights at night in your home.
Creative rest: Make time for your hobbies! Painting, hiking, gardening, ect.

Don’t you think it’s curious that we are fasting in the morning, but during the daytime is when we’re most metabolically active and revved up? Wouldn’t it make more sense to feed that metabolism and get it burning brighter in the morning and then having an early dinner? Why are we eating late at night at six or seven when that’s when our metabolism is dying out and melatonin is on the rise?

Somethings not adding up to me 🤔

Experiment with fasting the opposite way. Try having dinner around 4 PM so that you can more easily fall into fat burn mode overnight.

Exposing your body to cold and allowing it to adjust to temperature changes offers numerous health benefits. When you embrace the cold, such as walking in brisk weather with a long-sleeve shirt but no jacket or skipping the use of your car’s remote start, you stimulate your body to adapt in ways that improve overall health. You don’t need to cold plunge to reap these benefits. For instance, cold exposure enhances circulation by causing your blood vessels to constrict and then dilate, which helps deliver oxygen and nutrients more efficiently throughout your body. It also boosts your metabolism by activating brown fat, a tissue that burns energy to generate heat, which can aid in weight regulation.

It also increases white blood cell production strengthening your immune system, builds resilience to stress tolerance, releases endorphins and norepinephrine for better mental clarity and mood stabilization, leaving you feeling energized and focused. And enhances sleep quality by regulated melatonin production.

Next time don’t use life’s little conveniences. Let the car warm up while you’re in it, park in the back of the parking lot on a cold day, do a 10-15 minute chore outside without a jacket.
