WHO WE ARE

Wright Homecare Solutions, home care agency, was established to provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors and adults with temporary or permanent disabilities, thus allowing them to stay in the comfort of their own homes. We help make this happen by completing a complimentary assessment, designing a customized plan, establishing caregivers in the homes to assist with activities of daily living. Such activities include meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, and transportation. In addition, we also provide companionship, physical assistance such transferring (i.e. bed to wheelchair), incontinence/ toileting support, respite care, and medication reminders.

Wright Homecare Solutions is right by your side thus ensuring integrity and dignity. We work alongside and respect the philosophies of all home and community-based, health care, hospice and palliative care, and Veterans providers. We start with a private complimentary assessment and conversation.

WHO WE SERVE

Our clients include men and women, generally aged 62 and older, who may live alone or with an older spouse or older adult child. The client may not drive, possibly experiences cognitive impairments (such as dementia), and/or have medical health issues that prevent them from keeping up with personal care and home chores. They may not be able to get out of the house or drive to run errands. As such, they need someone to assist with one or more activities of daily living, such as bathing, hygiene, meal preparation, and all mentioned above.

Our clients may not have a nearby family member(s) to help them. They may need services as little as 1-day per week, approximately 3-4 hours to 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Some of our clients may have had a fall, undergone surgery, or aged with physical impairments.

ABOUT THE OWNER

Tomeka Wright has over 35 years of experience in healthcare. Tomeka is passionate about caring for the elderly and disabled. She developed this passion at the age of 13 while visiting her grandmother at the hospital.

Her passion for caring has led her to begin her healthcare career, starting as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She then went ahead to further her education in Gerontology, Psychology, and Healthcare Management, with an increased focus on aging and disability.

After decades of caring and catering for people, and seeing how many of them need great help in their own home, Tomeka has finally decided to open a home care agency. With this, she now provides superior home care to every family who needs help keeping their loved ones at home safe and healthy.

Her clients have named her agency as one of the best-certified care advisors for long-term housing placement. She founded One Call Senior Placement, The Wright Manor Assisted Living, and the Wright Homecare Solutions, which provides experienced professional staff, making a positive difference in the lives of others.
