I’d like to give the biggest shout out to Loree and Core Principles Pilates Studio! I’ve been taking private Pilates reformer sessions and I’m amazed at the results I’m already feeling!
After 1 session: I noticed much less pain in my knees, hips, and shoulders. (I have degenerative arthritis in those joints)
After 3 sessions I’m noticing I don’t feel like I have weak peg legs that are all over the place when I walk up and down stairs. LOL I am noticing my footing has more even alignment on each step allowing me more strength and stability.
I also notice less fatigue and burning in my quads when walking up stairs.
And what I’m most amazed at is, I can feel my core strength I don’t ever recall feeling or having. I notice it when I sit, stand, and when I sit up getting out of bed in the morning.
This postural support from strengthening the core is helping stabilize my skeleton to take pressure off joints in my extremities! Im noticing I’m able to wear heels and my feet are hurting much much less! I’m noticing my usual forward head posture seems to be shifting and correcting on its own which is relieving chronic neck pain I e had for years!
If 3 sessions has helped this much…and I’m still such a beginner…I can’t imagine the benefits I’ll feel a few months from now!
Massage has helped free my body , but Pilates is helping me correct posture by training core muscles to support correct skeletal alignment!
