Unpopular opinion: you don’t have to fix your body & you probably shouldn’t be 🤐
🥺But victims of diet culture will still say but I ate this I have to burn it off! Do you? Are you sure?
🧠What if your body actually needed that so your brain could focus on something besides its next meal for 5 minutes
🥶What if your body needed that so you could have a normal body temperature instead of freezing 24/7 using the blow dryer to keep yourself warm everyday
Honestly, the bigger question to consider is 👇
🛠️what makes you feel like you HAVE to fix your body aka micromanage it(especially after eating)?
🫣Fear of your body changing
🫣Fear of others judging you
🫣Fear of losing identity
🤫What you were told to do (diet culture)
🫣Fear of weight gain
🫠Because I used to have those same fears, the I have to fix this mentality…. ⏳It’s taken time but after undoing beliefs & setting boundaries …. 🥰 I trust my body to do its thing… trust me, you will be able to too!
