You don't have to do it alone. In this caregiver social support group, you can meet with other caregivers to learn about available resources, affordable counseling, and other aging agencies in the community. This social support group is available for all people aged 18 and over.

Check out our latest project in partnership with JBI Library: Hanukkah cards! These are not your regular Hanukkah cards, though. These are ones that are specifically made for those who are blind, have low vision, or who have a print disability—across the globe. These cards come with braille and large print, as well as tactile artwork techniques that can be felt and enjoyed by touch.

A big thank you to everyone who participated in this project. Please return your decorated cards so they can be mailed in time for Hanukkah!

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO MAKE A CARD BUT WASN'T THERE FOR THE EVENT, you're in luck. We will be creating them again during Open Studio at the JCC THIS THURSDAY! Whether you haven't made one or you want to make another, feel free to stop by and create with us again!

Last week we had a private retirement party for Vivian Fantauzzi. Vivian was with JFCS for over 40 years and has done a tremendous amount of work to better our community. For starters, she resettled over 400 immigrants, taught educational lessons at Akiva, gave counseling to those in need, and she facilitated the Parkinson's Support Group at the JCC, alongside countless of other good deeds. As a community, we thank Vivian Fantauzzi for her outstanding contributions to our community.

Today marks seven years since the attack at the Tree of Life synagogue, a day that forever changed our community. We pause to remember the eleven souls lost and offer comfort to their families and loved ones. May their memory be a blessing.
