Some might ask “What can I expect from therapy?”
I do my best to provide a calming environment with calming scents, comfy chairs, fidgets, soft tissue and even candy or mints! Therapists know this is stressful and can be scary. We go at your pace.
You'll be asked questions about what led you to seek out therapy, what personal goals you may have, family and personal history. We talk, we process, we seek to make connections. We work to develop strategies to improve your situations. We work to gain insight.
I can't "fix you" or the issue but the goal is to assist you in finding your power, finding better ways to cope, viewing the situations differently and the list goes on.
