From Nido to Pre-K 3, our classrooms brought storytelling to life through the art of shadow puppetry!

Our students explored light and shadow with wonder and curiosity, while creating their own shadow puppets and reenacting the story of Nugget using expressive voices and rich language.

Through shadow play, they’re not just learning about traditions — they’re becoming confident storytellers.

Our Nido 2 little learners have been exploring the world through their feet! As part of our Reggio-inspired curriculum, children experienced a barefoot sensory path filled with different textures—soft, rough, squishy, and smooth.

Research shows that the soles of the feet are rich with nerve endings, and stimulating them supports brain development. Through this hands-on (and feet-on!) experience, our toddlers strengthened neurological pathways while building vocabulary as we described how each material felt—wet, dry, bumpy, sticky, and more.

In true Reggio fashion, we followed their curiosity, encouraged questions, and embraced the joy of learning through meaningful sensory exploration.

From coins and lanterns to red envelopes, every piece was thoughtfully designed through collaboration, creativity, and meaningful discussions. We love watching their ideas come to life while building skills that go far beyond the art table.

It’s not just a saying — it’s part of how we learn. At Prodigy Early Learning, our children are encouraged to dive in, explore, and create without worrying about the mess.

Our Nido class has been fully engaged, using all five senses through our Reggio-inspired curriculum as they design and create their beautiful dancing dragon masterpieces for Chinese New Year. From textures to colors to movement, every experience is intentional and child-led.

This week, our children explored Valentine’s Day through process art using our Reggio Emilia–inspired curriculum. With open-ended materials, curiosity, and lots of creativity, they experimented, discovered, and expressed themselves in their own unique ways.
