I have to say…. I have loved NYC; however it can be a bit overwhelming for neurodivergent nervous systems such as mine- and I do busy!!!!! When Julia and I visited ( which was so wonderful btw! Go!) I found myself hot, overstimulated, and needing to sit down when Julia said mom- look! It was if the angels came down to usher us in to heaven themselves! I asked the sweet info lady if we could go in - and she said of course! Inly@one other family was I there with 2 tiny girls coloring and mom reading a book, dad Jan closed curtain room ( so cool you can do that!) and Julia and I sat in spinny chairs and watched a fish video ! I was able to take my coat off , breath and spin in that chair and ro l in quiet! Ahhhhhh 5 min was all it took to reset and I was able to think and plan our next move!

It could have been our commercial 🤣

Thanks again to the American Museum of Natural Histiry for understanding nervous systems- inclusivity at its best!!! Thank you ! When you practice what you preach…..
