This week our patients got into the spirit of the season with a festive Halloween-themed group physical, occupational, and speech therapy session!

From spooky obstacle courses and pumpkin tosses 🏃‍♂️🎃
to fine-motor crafts and sensory play ✂️🖍️
to speech-and-language games filled with Halloween vocabulary 💬🧛‍♀️…

Our teams worked together to build:
✅ Strength & coordination
✅ Fine-motor and sensory skills
✅ Communication, social interaction & confidence
✅ Teamwork and FUN!

We love seeing our patients make progress while smiling, laughing, and celebrating together. 💪🧡

Today we doubled the fun with our Annual Halloween Party and a birthday party. It was a real hoot. We had a “UNO Card Group” iykyk a sailor, a pirate, Joe Dirt, Cat Woman, super Kitty Ginny, my granddaughter came to visit with Skyla, A cowgirl, cute scarecrow, Ms. Tamara and Queen Paula. It’s always fun to spend time with our group outside of work to share laughs and just have fun. Thank you Ms. Paula for the gumbo and fixings and all the help Hannah with decorating and serving; Tamara helping to serve and play games. It takes a team effort for any event big or small and I appreciate the efforts put in to a fun event for our residents. Enjoy the pictures.😛

🎃 Fall Outing to the Pumpkin Patch! 🍂

This week, our residents
enjoyed a seasonal community outing to the local pumpkin patch! Seasonal activities like this offer meaningful opportunities for social interaction, and carryover of learned skills from therapy. We’re excited to celebrate the Fall season together and create lasting memories outside the everyday routine. A big thank-you to our dedicated team for making experiences like this possible!
