Cammie Porter, MS, PLPC, Counselor I provide in-person and Telehealth counseling services to adults, adolescents, and children at Counseling and Recovery Guidance in Youngsville, LA.

I'm passionate about helping my clients navigate the inevitable challenges of life. Cammie Porter holds a Master's of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Cammie's skills flourish working with children providing play therapy and parental support in Lafayette and Youngsville communities. Her clientele is not limited by age group; she has experience working with young adults, adults, adolescents, groups, couples, and families. She is ready and willing to help those from all walks of life who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, daily stressors, etc. Cammie values trust, respect, and honesty regarding her client-counselor relationships. She is known for her genuine character and understanding; Her capacity to care is never-ending, and it shows in her sessions. As human beings, we seek connection. Cammie hopes that she can be that connection for those who may feel lost, alone, or scared. Cammie acknowledges the strength it takes to seek help and is waiting on the other end to guide you through it.
