We are offering not one but TWO groups this summer starting in June! OT groups will run from 8-10 am for kids 2-5 years of age and speech groups will run from 10-12 pm for kids 6-10 years targeting a variety of skills and fun activities.

Through play, children are building the foundation for everything— motor skills, language, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and social interactions. What may look like “just playing” is actually meaningful, purposeful work that drives growth and development. 🌟

🗣️ Speech Sound Development: What’s Typical & When to Seek Help
Many parents wonder if their child’s speech is developing the way it should. While every child grows at their own pace, certain sounds tend to develop around predictable ages. Knowing these milestones can help you spot when extra support might be helpful!

🚩 Red Flags That May Warrant a Speech Evaluation
• Your child is hard for others to understand after age 3
• Persistent sound errors past the expected age
• Dropping sounds in words after age 3–4
• Substituting many sounds (t/k, w/r, f/th) beyond typical age ranges
• Your child becomes frustrated when trying to communicate

💡 Tips to Support Speech Sound Development at Home
• Model correct sounds naturally: If your child says “tar,” you can respond “Yes, a car!”
• Slow down your speech so your child can hear the sounds clearly
• Read books together and emphasize target sounds
• Practice through play (cars for /k/, bubbles for /b/, etc.)
• Encourage but don’t pressure—keep practice fun and positive!
