…a *cleanse* is probably not the answer…

In fact you’re probably under-fueling as it is. Whether it’s GI symptoms you’re struggling with, brain fog, PMS, anxiety, metabolic disorders, I see a lot of folks wanting to jump to a “cure all” like a “cleanse” or “detox” and for my ladies, that often only perpetuates underlying issues around food that may have been a driving factor to your current conditions in the first place. We’re a complicated bunch when it comes to food and it really does take an individualized approach to avoid restrictive eating habits I see touted so often.

This is an area I’m passionate about after working with so many amazing women over the years. Ya’ll deserve balanced, evidence-based and sustainable options to feel better in your body and mind, not more restrictions with no way out. So let’s stop falling for these *detox* traps, mmk ladies? Sending yall love 💕

Cupping is a great way to help reduce muscle pain and tension! In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) it is used to help improve the flow of blood and qi and reduce stagnation that may be causing the pain.
It is really handy to have at home as well! I often suggest having tools for pain around such as a cupping set, TENS unit, massage cane/ thera cane, and massage ball as they can be affordable ways to provide some relief at home and in between visits. Ask your pain management provider(s) about what options might be best for you, how to use them safely and effectively and for more info on these tools.

I offer an all TCM bodywork option in my practice as well for those who may not want to try acupuncture but are still looking for pain relief.
