Our Accountant Kenny is doing a fundraiser for the Farm! They have been rooting spider plants in the finance office for the past few weeks, and the little plants are ready to go!

"Make a donation of any amount to Dawn Farm (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization) and receive a rooted Spider Plant baby!

Dawn Farm offers a continuum of long-term treatment services to help addicts achieve long-term recovery. This continuum includes residential treatment, transitional housing, outpatient care, sub-acute detoxification, and a range of active outreach programs. Most importantly, Dawn Farm helps people with addictions build a recovery support system that will last long after they have completed treatment.

Grateful to the Washtenaw County Health Department and Washtenaw County Commissioners for their efforts distributing local opioid settlement funding to community-based providers.

Dawn Farm lost $286,800 in annual Recovery Support Specialists (RSS) funding this year, and the opioid settlement helps support our life-saving and life-changing team over the next three years.

The Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners has approved funding awards for multiple community organizations to address harm from the opioid crisis using County opioid settlement funds.

“Increasing access to harm reduction tools, treatment, and recovery support saves lives here in Washtenaw County,” says Jimena Loveluck, MSW, WCHD health officer.

“We are grateful to our local partners who lead this critical work, and we look forward to seeing how these opioid settlement funds build on the encouraging progress that has been made so far.”

We harvested so much produce from our garden at the Farm!

We're excited to make fried green tomatoes and research other recipes. If you have favorite recipes for peppers, okra, eggplant, green beans, or summer squash, please send them our way!

It's a little overcast today, but we're excited!

We received an infrastructure grant to replace the siding on the main house at the Farm. It's a big house and this is an expensive project, so we're very grateful for this funding.

The house was built in 1990 and still had the original siding. You may have noticed that it's been in need of replacement for a few years. Stop by this summer and keep an eye on progress -- and a new house color!
