We’re excited to share this opportunity from our partners at the City of Yuba City, Local Government, the first-ever community meeting for the Yuba City Active Transportation Plan:

Following the crowd, or following the facts? Most teens say they started va**ng because “everyone else was doing it.” But when we , we learn many don’t even know what’s inside those vapes. The key is asking questions, let’s walk through it together. Begin with curiosity. Listen closely. Then share what you know. You can’t control other people’s choices, but you can control yours, and that’s an important reminder for all of us and our kids. That’s where the real power is!

🎉 Congratulations to Paragon Collegiate Academy🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome them as our newest Blue Zones Project Approved School! This incredible campus absolutely radiates connection and care, from the joyful energy of Flag Fridays, where the whole school comes together to celebrate birthdays and community, to the sweet tradition of Kindergarten and 8th Grade Buddy Breakfasts that bring students closer across grade levels. 💙

With support from Blue Zones Project, Paragon has also refreshed their Parent & Student Handbook to encourage healthier fundraisers and snack options, and this year, they’re lacing up and joining the fun with monthly Walk to School Days to keep those steps (and smiles!) going strong!

Way to go, Paragon, for creating an environment where the healthy choice is the easy choice for students, staff, and families alike. 👏
