Thank you Sutter County Museum for providing a sensory-friendly museum day for us to explore the Voyage to Vietnam: Celebrating the Tet Festival hands-on exhibit! It was a beautiful, educational, engaging and fun morning at the museum!

If anyone missed it, be sure to check it out this special experience before the exhibit closes on August 15th!

Its FREE and open to the public!

We are so excited to work with Sutter County Museum to support a sensory-friendly museum day to explore their hands-on exhibit "Voyage to Vietnam: Celebrating the Tet Festival."

This sensory-friendly day will accommodate families with :

• Limited spaces for reduced crowd size

• Special museum hours open exclusively for Sensory-Friendly Day

• Sensory supports available

Our lego club has been hard at work this summer creating ninja warrior courses, building traps and using a black light to create secret messages on their legos!

This week our teen, TEEM-G group used fresh herbs from the garden to create all-natural scented bath bombs!

Gardening and self-care are a great combination in so many ways! 💕🪴

Last Saturday's Mornings in the Garden event was "WHEEL FUN"!! 🚴👩‍🦽‍➡️🛴🎉

We made a mini-bike craft project, had a wheel-themed sensory tray, got wet at the "wheel wash" station, and made a "power-up" healthier verson of a banana split with bananas and frozen yogurt.

We finished the day with a parade led by our local National American Miss California winner, who shared the love by sharing crowns with some new friends! 💕💕💕

Join in the fun for our LAST Mornings in the Garden event, Saturday August 16th 10-11 am at the Artisan Community Garden (1333 Butte House Rd, Yuba City). We will be exploring outdoor cooking with homemade solar ovens! Events are free for families of children with special needs ages 0-22 in Yuba, Sutter & Colusa Counties. Registration is required at tinyurl.com/MorningsInTheGarden2025

This week our Pokemon club met to trade cards, share Pokemon facts and then put together Mega Blocks Pokeballs and Pokemon characters. It was great seeing some of our older members help the younger members with their projects!
