Family SOUP

Family SOUP serves families of children with special needs ages 0-22 in Yuba, Sutter & Colusa Counties.

Programs and services:
*Gas cards for out of town medical appointments
*Support groups
*Resource lending library
*School disability services support
*Alta California services support
*Family SOUP newsletter -NOISE!
*Therapeutic activities
*Facilitated referrals and service coordination with other agencies
*Family-centered activities to reduce isolation and have fun
*Assistance with applications to entitlement programs
*Parent to Parent support
*Collaborative trainings and workshops

Wednesday December 17th is the LAST DAY to participate in the GIVE & RECEIVE food drive supporting Yuba Sutter Food Bank

GIVE- a nonperishable food item (see attached list for most needed items)

RECEIVE- a raffle ticket for our drawing to win a $25 Millennium Gift Card or 2 Cinemark Movie Tickets.

We had such a wonderful time hosting Sensory friendly Santa Visits this week! It is always such a joy to be able to see the magic come alive for our special visitors! 🎄🎄🎄🎄

💕 THANK YOU to Santa and Mrs Claus, they both have such a heart for what they do. I'm pretty sure they are the real deal! 😉🎅🏻🧑🏼‍🎄

Our Lego Club had a special festive experience last night as we made Lego Snow-globes in the BEAUTIFULLY decorated Sutter County Museum. 🎄✨🎄

Stop by today and check out all of the gorgeous trees on display ready for their Trees and Traditions event. Event tickets are sold out, but the display is open to the public for free until 5pm today, with an option to purchase raffle tickets to help support!

Thanks in huge part to our generous donors and grantors, Family SOUP will be celebrating our 34th year of providing supports & services to local families of children with special needs.

Each year, we have an annual campaign and raffle to help fund our programs including support groups, play groups, parent-to parent support, school services support, our gas card assistance program, the Able Riders therapeutic horseback riding program, and much more.

With your contributions, we will be able to continue to make a difference together in the lives of our local children with special needs and help them to reach their full potential!
