Sibling Support Group starts 1 week from today! We are so excited to be continuing to use the "Happy Confident Me" Lifeskills journal as a framework for the group! Every participant will receive a copy of the book and the supplies needed to do 4 of the hands-on activities from the book!

This group is specifically supporting siblings of children with special needs
6-13 yrs old in Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties.

Classes are held virtually.
Every 4th Thursday, monthly
4:15-5:00 pm,
with an in-person event decided upon by the group.

Feb 26- Resiliency & tour building
March 26- Creativity & 3D art project
April 23- Mindfulness & sensory bottles
May 28- Compassion & Kindness jars

We are so excited to introduce one of out keynote speakers for our Motherhood's Journey event on March 20th 2026:

Janae Oller is an educator, advocate, and community leader based in the Yuba-Sutter area, where she has been a lifelong resident. Born with Achondroplasia Dwarfism, Janae has spent her life not only navigating the world with resilience, but actively educating others and empowering families through knowledge and advocacy.

She holds degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education and currently serves students in an ASD-focused classroom, where she is passionate about creating meaningful, inclusive learning environments. Janae believes deeply in the power of education as a tool for confidence, advocacy, and generational change.

As President of the San Joaquin Valley Chapter of Little People of America, she works to build community, provide resources, and support families navigating life with dwarfism and disabilities. Her leadership focuses on connection, empowerment, and helping others find their voice.

Above all, Janae is a wife and mother who believes that when parents and caregivers are equipped with knowledge and confidence, they become powerful advocates for their children.

Introducing our new Autism Parent Support Group, a monthly support group for parents & caregivers of children with autism in Yuba, Sutter & Colusa Counties. Each session will include time for connection, sharing and a mini- workshop on a topic regarding supporting a child with autism.

Thank you Sgt Gwinnup with Yuba City Police Department for a wonderful tour of the police department yesterday. It was a great way to start our spring teen group session focused on personal safety. We learned how to effectively communicate with an officer in public and via a 911 call in an emergency.
