We want to extend our sincere thanks to the Sutter County Board of Supervisors for recognizing March 23–27 as First Responder Wellness Week.
This proclamation highlights something we see every day—behind every call, every response, and every uniform is a person carrying real stress, real responsibility, and real experiences. Prioritizing the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of our crews isn’t optional—it’s essential.
We’re proud to stand alongside the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office in this recognition, and we appreciate the Board’s support in highlighting the importance of first responder wellness.
To all first responders in our community—thank you for what you do, and take care of yourselves the same way you take care of others.
Every day, our first responders answer the call -- often facing dangerous, high-stress, and life-altering situations to protect and serve our community. Behind the uniform are individuals who carry the weight of these experiences, making wellness not just important, but essential.
At yesterday's meeting, the Sutter County Board of Supervisors presented a proclamation to the dedicated teams at Bi-County Ambulance and the Sutter County Sheriff's Office recognizing March 23-27 as First Responder Wellness Week in Sutter County.
From managing stress and fatigue to prioritizing physical and mental health, wellness plays a critical role in ensuring our first responders can continue their lifesaving work safely and effectively. Supporting their well-being is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor their service and sacrifice.
We thank all first responders for their unwavering commitment to Sutter County.
