It’s cold which means your internal body can run cold. External elements affect our internal health which is why it’s important to adjust our nutrition accordingly.

Ever wonder why your lingering pain increases during winter? External cold invading internal. Mood lower in winter? External cold depleting Kidney Qi. Sickness invaded your home? External Wind-Cold invading the body.

Sometimes this is what healing feels like.
Social media has created a constant expectation for dramatic results and trends, when often healing is simple.

I told three clients last week to go home, drink water, and eat whatever food they were craving that day.
That was what they needed most.

No fancy supplement.
No dramatic yoga backbend.
Just simple nourishment.

It’s choosing yourself.
It’s shutting down gossip.
It’s getting a full night’s rest.
It’s making a comforting meal.
It’s booking that therapy appointment.
It’s tears your organs have been asking you to release.

If you ever catch yourself comparing your healing to someone else’s protocol, practice, or highlight reel: pause. You are already healing.
