We are looking for someone who would help prepare brochures and envelopes to be mailed out for about 3 hours a week at $13 an hour. The ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and detail oriented. The ability to speak Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Medicare and the Non-working spouse (sounds like a movie ):
If spouse is a homemaker for example, they can qualify for Medicare under their spouses work history, if the working spouse has paid into the system for at least 10 years.

BUT, working spouse must have at least attained age 62, or the non-working spouse is not yet eligible even if he or she is turning 65. Cougar homemakers beware!

Ways to pay the government for your Medicare Part B. The default is they take it from your social security check each month. However, if not yet collecting Social Security, here are the options.

1.The default option is they send you a quarterly bill. However if you start in the middle of a quarter, your first bill may be a for 4 or 5 months.

Giving Access to other Family Members Who Assists You:

If someone needs to have a loved one call their Medicare plan on their behalf, they can complete this form and submit to the insurance company to keep on file. This is NOT for permission to make changes or do enrollments. It’s to check on claims, ask benefit questions, order ID cards and the like.

2. Medicare and Acupuncture

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers up to 12 acupuncture visits in 90 days for chronic low back pain.

Medicare covers an additional 8 sessions if you show improvement. If your doctor decides your chronic low back pain isn’t improving or is getting worse, then Medicare won't cover your treatments. No more than 20 acupuncture treatments can be given yearly.
And since a Supplement plan (as opposed to an Advantage plan) generally only covers what Medicare covers, the Supplement would treat it the same.
