When kids head back to the classroom, they’re also back to sharing close spaces, supplies, and (unfortunately) germs. The result? A spike in common colds every fall.

How to help your child stay healthy:
✔️ Encourage regular handwashing with soap and water.
✔️ Teach them to cough or sneeze into a tissue or elbow.
✔️ Make sure they’re getting enough sleep and eating well to keep immunity strong.
✔️ Keep them home if they have a fever or feel unwell to prevent spreading illness.

If your child does get sick, most colds resolve in about a week. But watch for worsening symptoms like high fever, breathing trouble, or ear pain, and call Total Healthcare Partners if you’re concerned.
