The Oklahoma State Fair kicks off this month, and it reminded us of the fun we had at our Annual Spanish Cove 2025 Carnival!

Just like the State Fair, our carnival is a tradition we look forward to every year, filled with games, corn dogs, laughter, and plenty of moments that made us all feel like kids again.

Here’s to keeping traditions alive and enjoying the joy they bring, whether at the fairgrounds or right here at Spanish Cove!

Economical Fashion Style Show at Spanish Cove

Residents and staff of Spanish Cove recently showcased their style in a Fashion Show, featuring fabulous finds from Woven, the charming thrift boutique located next to Manna Pantry in Yukon, Oklahoma.

When you shop at The Woven your support helps clothe the community in love!

Profits from Woven go to The Together We Center, serving those in need with medical services, food, or clothing. When you shop, you’re giving back and making a real difference in the lives of others.

The event culminated in a spirited finale as golfers donned their golf attire to honor the upcoming 4th Annual Spanish Cove Golf Tournament this October.

Their participation added a special touch, blending fashion with community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this fashion show a huge success!

Spanish Cove held its Second Annual Capers last week, and it was a wonderful success.

The Spanish Cove Choir brought so much joy as they sang between skits, and our residents kept everyone laughing with their creative performances.

Each skit was funnier than the last, and the whole afternoon was filled with smiles and laughter throughout the community.

We can’t wait to get all the footage put together so you can see just how funny it really was!

Happy Labor Day from Spanish Cove!

Today we celebrate the value of hard work, dedication, and the generations who helped build the communities we cherish.

At Spanish Cove, we are grateful for the talents, time, and commitment of those who have paved the way before us, including many of our very own residents who dedicated their lives to careers, families, and service.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group

If you are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s, you don’t have to face the journey alone. The Together We Church hosts an Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group on the first Thursday of every month.

This group provides encouragement, resources, and a safe place to share experiences with others who understand.

Location: We Together Church
When: First Thursday of every month
Time: 1:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m.

If you or someone you know could benefit from extra support, we encourage you to attend.

An Inspiring Morning with Sherri Coale at Spanish Cove

We were honored to host Hall of Fame Coach, Writer, Speaker, and Believer Sherri Coale for an incredible motivational talk at Spanish Cove last week.

Sherri shared her journey from the basketball court to the writing desk, inspiring us with her story of faith, perseverance, and creativity.

Guests got a behind-the-scenes look at how she began writing and learned about her newest release, The Compost File, as well as her earlier book, Rooted to Rise.

After her talk, attendees had the opportunity to purchase her books and have them personally signed by Sherri herself.

A big thank you to Sherri Coale for sharing her wisdom, heart, and inspiration with everyone at Spanish Cove.

We are so grateful for the encouragement she brought to our community.

Spanish Cove Residents Enjoy Animal Adventures!

It’s been an exciting week full of animal fun at Spanish Cove!

Our Independent Living residents kicked things off with the Mystery Trip to the Express Clydesdale Ranch in Yukon. These gentle giants wowed everyone with their beauty and grace, a truly unforgettable visit!

Meanwhile, back at home, our Pavilion residents had a wild encounter of their own when Extreme Animals brought the animal kingdom right to the pavilion!

From furry friends to exotic surprises, residents loved getting up close with creatures big and small.

Whether on the road or right here at home, our residents had a wildly wonderful time!
