Spanish Cove’s Independent Living Activities Department recently returned from a wonderful three-day adventure in Bentonville, Arkansas, filled with art, history, shopping, delicious food, and beautiful scenery.
The group began their adventures with a visit to The Momentary for a fascinating National Geographic exhibit and a stop at the Alice Walton School of Medicine, where residents enjoyed breathtaking views from the rooftop garden.
Residents also toured the stunning Mildred B. Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista, explored Bentonville’s vibrant downtown square, visited the Walmart Five & Dime Museum, Peel Mansion, and Crystal Bridges Museum, and enjoyed learning about the city’s unique bicycle culture and scenic trails.
Along the way, the group shared wonderful meals at local favorites including Flying Fish, Orleans Table, Big Whiskey, and Eleven Restaurant inside Crystal Bridges — where the famous warm chocolate chip cookie was a favorite treat!
Shopping, sightseeing, ice cream stops, and lots of laughter made the trip even more memorable.
With perfect weather, great fellowship, and unforgettable experiences, residents returned home with grateful hearts and wonderful memories from their Bentonville getaway.
