We had a wonderful time at Happy You’re Here Hour yesterday as we welcomed and introduced new residents to the Spanish Cove community.

Happy You’re Here Hour is a special time for residents to get to know their new neighbors, building connections and creating a warm sense of community from the very beginning. Guests also enjoy delicious snacks and a glimpse into the many opportunities available here at Spanish Cove.

Attendees were treated to something new and truly beautiful, a first glimpse of the Chimes Choir, led by Spanish Cove Choir Director and resident Stephen Darter. Their performance added such a meaningful touch to the afternoon.

Thank you to the Chimes Choir for sharing your time and talent with us. We are so grateful for the joy and inspiration you brought to everyone who attended.

Spanish Cove was excited to attend Senior Day at the Capitol today.

It was a wonderful opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event focused on celebrating and supporting seniors across our state.

We enjoyed walking through, connecting with others, and taking in all the valuable resources and conversations happening throughout the day.

It was inspiring to see so many people and organizations coming together with a shared heart for seniors.

Days like today remind us how important community, connection, and advocacy truly are.

The mystery is out, and what a fun day it was.

Yesterday, Spanish Cove residents headed out on their monthly Mystery Trip, and the destination did not disappoint.

The group spent the day at Re*****on Park enjoying the excitement of live horse racing, good company, and a change of scenery right here in Oklahoma City.

From cheering on their favorite horses to sharing laughs along the way, it was a day full of energy and great memories.

These Mystery Trips are always a highlight, and this one was definitely a winner.

Spanish Cove residents enjoyed a fun evening out at the monthly Bingo at the Dale Robertson Center with Yukon Parks and Recreation in Yukon.

There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and time spent with friends from the community. Best of all, the event supports a great cause through Yukon Mobile Meals.

A special congratulations goes to our resident Cindy Withrow who won the big Blackout Bingo.

It was a wonderful evening and a reminder that you are never too old to enjoy a good game of Bingo.

Second half pictures of our Las Vegas adventure, for those who chose to ride the motorcoach home from Vegas.

Stops along the way included an amazing visit to the Grand Canyon National Park where we were even blessed with a rainbow over the canyon.

We also stopped in Sedona, Arizona for a ride aboard Sedona Trolley that included a stop at The Chapel of the Holy Cross and local history, followed by a relaxing three-hour ride aboard the Verde Canyon Railroad with charcuterie boxes and treat boxes filled with Valentine’s Day treats and pastries, all while taking in stunning scenery.

Travelers enjoyed dinner at The Eden in Cottonwood, Arizona, sharing the most delicious meal around one big table, topped off with incredible cheesecake that many happily boxed up to take home. INCREDIBLE SERVICE!

Spanish Cove Touring Club on the road!

Big thank you to Love's Travel Stops for always taking such great care of the Spanish Cove Touring Club.

From convenient locations to clean restrooms, great snacks, and friendly service, you truly help make the journey smoother every time.

As a fellow Oklahoma company, we especially appreciate the support while we’re out on the road representing Oklahoma too.

During our 10-day adventure to Las Vegas several of our residents made the return drive on the Spanish Cove Retirement Village motorcoach, and Love’s was there for us every step of the way.

We’re happy to say everyone is safely home after fueling up along the route (about 327 gallons total) and enjoying those much-appreciated rest stops.

Thank you for helping keep our group comfortable, fueled, and moving forward. We truly appreciate you.
