Brushing too hard can do more harm than good. Scrubbing aggressively doesn’t mean cleaner teeth. It can actually wear down enamel and irritate your gums. The trick is to use a soft-bristle toothbrush in gentle circular motions and brush for a full 2 minutes. Think of brushing like massaging rather than scrubbing. If your toothbrush bristles fray quickly or your gums bleed often, it might be time to rethink your technique.

Green tea is rich in natural compounds that fight bacteria and reduce inflammation! This makes it a great beverage for not just your oral health, but your overall wellness too. Catechins in green tea may even help reduce the risk of gum disease, and it’s gentler on your enamel than coffee or soda. For a healthy smile, enjoy it plain - no lemon or sugar. Curious to learn more? Contact us at (405) 354-4422 and take a step toward better health!
