SPOTLIGHT:
Chris Krohn! Chris was born and raised in the sign industry. His father had a sign company on the East Coast where Chris worked all of his teenage years. He then moved to Oklahoma and started working for Oklahoma Neon where he met Gene Russell. When Oklahoma Neon closed, Chris took a job at Amax Signs and has been there ever since. Of his long sign career, Chris says “I often look back and realize how fast 30 years goes by!”
What does Chris love most about TSSA? He says it’s the network of people, and the knowledge that is shared so openly when at events like the meet and greets. In his words, “TSSA has truly been one of the coolest experiences for me personally over the years. If Gene Russell were here today, I bet he would be proud of what TSSA has become and will hopefully continue to be for many years. There are just so many people that make our industry the best! It’s like we are one big family at the end of the day. Sure, we compete with each other- but it’s wonderful how you can practically walk into any sign company in the TSSA network and be received with open arms. It’s a blessing and an honor to be part of it.”
