Public Service Announcement
Folks, be cautious of chiropractors who spend most of their time attending seminars on becoming better “adjusters” or better salesmen.
Healthcare is not a sales competition.
As medical providers, our responsibility is to stay current with modern medical standards of care, evidence-based treatment, and proper clinical decision-making — not learning the latest script to sell long treatment plans or buying the newest gadget to justify charging patients more money.
Being able to perform a fast or flashy adjustment does not make someone a good clinician.
A good provider understands:
• Proper diagnosis
• When imaging is necessary
• When conservative care is appropriate
• When to refer to specialists
• How to collaborate with neurologists, orthopedists, pain management physicians, and other medical professionals
Medicine is a team effort, not a one-man show built around outdated philosophy.
A simple rule patients can use:
If other medical specialists trust your chiropractor enough to send them their own patients, you're probably in the right place.
If your provider only talks about “subluxations,” “lifetime adjustments,” and has you coming in three times per week indefinitely, you may want to ask some serious questions.
Your health deserves modern, evidence-based care — not 1900’s dogma mixed with sales tactics.
