We recently celebrated our FREE Heart Health Fair at Exceptional Community Hospital – Yuma, and we are so grateful to the partners who helped make it a success.

Guests enjoyed live cooking demonstrations by Chef Alex and his sous chef Kamylla from JT Bros / JT Prime, along with Andrew from Eddie’s Food & Drink and Pueblo Pizza—sharing delicious, heart-healthy inspiration with our community.

Exercise demonstrations were led by Pilates Goddess, with general heart-healthy movement tips from Kayla with ReadyKAYFit. We were also proud to welcome the Arizona Western College Dance Team for energetic entertainment.

Blood pressure screenings were provided by Arizona Western College EMT Program students—proof that our community will be in excellent hands with these soon-to-be graduates. A special thank-you to Hollis Brothers for always helping keep our events safe.

Thank you to all of our community partners for helping educate and support the Yuma community. At Exceptional Community Hospital – Yuma, we are proud to promote community health.

Here’s a recap of some of our recent community outreach efforts as we continue spreading the word about Heart Health Awareness.

Thank you to Yuma County CTE Career Day for the opportunity to engage with students who are invested in the future. Thank you as well to the Yuma Sun for hosting a Health and Wellness event that aligns with our commitment to promoting health throughout our Yuma community.

At Exceptional Community Hospital – Yuma, we know the importance of heart health. Healthy habits are best when learned at a young age. To help celebrate American Heart Month, we invite our youth to participate in our Heart Health Coloring Contest.

How to participate: Download the coloring page, color your masterpiece, and bring it to ECH Yuma, 2648 S. Araby Road, Yuma, by February 19.

Gift baskets will be presented to winners during our FREE Heart Health Fair on February 21.
