Yuma Regional Medical Center (sometimes known as YRMC or Onvida Health) has a way of making everything they touch look corrupt.
This is so sad as Brian Fernandez works hard at constituent service.

Arizona Senator Brian Fernandez directed $3 million in taxpayer funds to his employer, a Yuma hospital, raising ethics concerns.

YRMC TO WASTE MILLIONS ON REBRANDING to become Onvida Health.
This is hard to believe!
Our community hospital is fresh off it's lawsuit loss to the Hospital District Board where it lost every single pretrial motion and was forced to settle their claim.
They agreed to reimburse property owners for the wasted attorney fees that were advanced to the District Board, through property taxes, to defend our community asset.
Millions of dollars were wasted on legal fees. These fees will be paid by us through higher medical fees.
Now we learn that our community hospital will waste millions more trying to distance themselves from their reputation and from the community that owns it.
This experiment will again force medical care users, me and you, to pay millions in additional medical fees to stroke the ego of the CEO and his hand picked Operating Board.
I suppose they might feel that headlines reporting the sell of Onvida Health to a private equity company might be less offensive to the community than their effort to sale Yuma Regional Medical Center! Perhaps we will be able to prove them wrong?

IT is Finished? The Divorce case filed by YRMC against the Yuma Community via The Hospital District has been settled.
YRMC lost every pretrial motion and must reimburse property owners for the tax assessments used to pay attorney bills to defend their frivolous lawsuit.

Some good news!
The CEO's 2022 compensation is down by 34%. Nice job.
The not so good news - the total compensation for the top 14 earners is up by almost $3 million. The average compensation for the top 14 is up almost $200 thousand to more than $1.1 million.
