🌵🔥 Employee of the Month Spotlight – Doug Carr! 🔥🌵

It may already be hitting triple digits here in Arizona (because of course it is 😅), but we’ve got something truly worth celebrating — Doug Carr, our Tucson Employee of the Month!

Doug and I go way back — all the way to 2008, when I was a young supervisor in Behavioral Health in Tucson. Doug and I were supporting children and adolescents in residential care — one of the most demanding roles out there — and I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without him. He brought steadiness, compassion, and a whole lot of perspective when we needed it most.

We’ve worked together across multiple agencies since then, and today at Abrio, I’m so proud to still call Doug a teammate — and even more proud to call him a friend.

Doug’s sense of humor is one of his most remarkable qualities. Whether he’s with his team or with a client, he leads with lightness, kindness, and genuine connection. It’s impossible not to feel better after a conversation with him.

Here’s what Doug shared about his journey:

“After being out of work for four years due to health reasons, Abrio gave me a way back. It helped me rebuild my routine and find purpose again. The best part is just spending time with my clients — talking, teaching, helping them grow.”

Doug, thank you for your steady presence, positive outlook, and years of meaningful impact. We’re lucky to have you as part of the Abrio Family.
