Resident Outing Fun! 🎉

Our residents had an amazing time last week on their latest outing to Lutes Casino, thanks to the YCAT and our awesome Activities Department!

It was a day filled with fun, friendship, good food, and memories.

A huge shoutout to our staff who made the trip smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Moments like these remind us how important it is to keep our residents engaged, social, and smiling.

Thank You for Walking With Us! 💜

This weekend’s Alzheimer’s Walk was truly incredible, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who showed up, walked alongside us, and supported the cause. Seeing our community come together with such passion and purpose means more than words can express.

A special shout-out to our amazing staff and dedicated junior volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly.

Together, we are raising awareness, honoring loved ones, and taking meaningful steps toward a world without Alzheimer’s. 💜👟

🌟 Staff Spotlight: Lorena Rubio 🌟

This month we’re shining the spotlight on Lorena Rubio, our wonderful CNA Supervisor/Scheduler, who has been a valued member of our team for 6 years! 💙

Lorena loves that her role allows her to learn a little bit of everything while connecting with CNAs, residents, and nursing staff each day. Her dedication and positive energy make a huge impact on everyone she works with!

When she’s not at work, Lorena enjoys spending quality time with her family, heading out to Glamis for some desert fun, and enjoying date nights with her husband. 💕

🎃 Weekend Recap! 🎃

We had such a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween this last week!

It was wonderful seeing so many smiling faces (and a few spooky ones too)👻. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined in the fun, and helped make all of these events such a success.

And lastly, a special thank you to the team here at Yuma Nursing Center & Rehab who helped make our Trick-or-Treat event all so special and memorable for our residents and for our community. Thank you to the residents' family members who also volunteered in lending a hand! It was truly heartwarming to see everyone come together to spread joy, laughter, and Halloween spirit throughout our halls. 🎃🧡
