We had an amazing time representing Yuma Nursing Center at the Yuma Wellness & Care Fair this past weekend! 🏥💙
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our community, share resources, and promote wellness for all ages.

Our team enjoyed:
-Meeting attendees and answering health questions
-Sharing information about our services and care programs
-Learning from other local wellness providers

Honoring Service & Community

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sergeant Montoya for the incredibly thoughtful gesture of bringing and beautifully framing our decommissioned American flag, along with a commemorative plaque.

This meaningful display now holds a special place in our building and serves as a powerful reminder of service, sacrifice, and the strong bond between our community and those who serve. We are truly grateful for Sergeant Montoya’s time, care, and dedication in honoring this symbol with such respect. We are honored to have had his assistance with properly decommissioning our prior flag, and helping us hang our new flag.

We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Jackie Ruiz, our Head of Staff Development, Volunteer, Community & Education! Jackie has been with us for 9 months, and in that time has made a meaningful impact both inside our facility and throughout the community.

Jackie is passionate about being a resource for teenagers and adults who are seeking real-life experiences and meaningful volunteering opportunities. Her dedication helps bridge the gap between our SNF and the community, creating learning, growth, and connection for all involved.

When she’s not supporting staff and volunteers, Jackie enjoys going to concerts, painting, and meditating—activities that reflect her creative and mindful approach to life and work.
