Our firefighters had a blast visiting the amazing kids at Happy Trails Day Care! We talked fire safety and about the tools on the truck. They learned how each tool helps us do our job safely and effectively.

Today at approximately 1:25 p.m., Rural Metro Fire responded to a report of a residential fire in the area of S Dorothy ...

Today at approximately 1:25 p.m., Rural Metro Fire responded to a report of a residential fire in the area of S Dorothy Ave and E 39th Pl. Upon arrival, crews found a vacant 5th wheel with smoke and flames coming from the roof, endangering the neighboring residence. Crews quickly deployed hose lines and began extinguishing the fire. They were able to knock down and extinguish the fire, containing it to the place of origin. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Great work, B-Crew!
