I want everyone to have a self-check on your health today. Dec 9 is a day that I thought I caught the flu or eat something upsetting my body. The next few days, I thought I was getting better until Monday, Dec 12. I went to the ER at Yuma Hospital to determine what was going on. They took blood test, urine/stool test, and several test for flu/Covid/etc and determined I was going into sepsis. CT SCAN was performed and found that I has a ruptured appendix. I was transferred to McKee Medical Hospital in Loveland CO for surgery. As some of you know, I am recovering from hysterectomy ten weeks prior. I was healing quite well from it and did not question any of the healing pain that going on with it. It was literally great day on Dec 8 and total sickness on Dec 9. I believe I am good reading my body and what I put in it. I am baffled on how this ruptured appendix even happened. The two surgeries was not in conjunction of each other. Anyways, I had my second abdominal surgery and was in hospital for 4 days. I was prepared my hysterectomy and able to bounce back quickly, but this second round I am not so sure how long I will be recovering. I know I am gaining little by little each day. Therefore I am taking time off through the end of January. I will be back because I love what I do. Please be patience with me. Holidays are near and it is time to turn to our loves one and cherish the lives we have. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
