Thank you all who helped us make another successful summer program! Today our children had an adventure at the Children’s Museum! They loved it! Thank you for those who donated! Pizza Hut, mostly muffins, Act of Kindness, Immanuel Baptized church! Also those who gave their time such as Eric Frost and Charles Escalante! Children’s lives were changed in a positive way!

Heads Up, Healing Hearts! In honor of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 26th. We take this day to remember and honor the brave souls who gave everything for our freedom. We’ll resume normal hours on Tuesday, May 27th. Wishing you a peaceful and reflective holiday.

This month, we honor Mental Health Awareness Month, and I want to take a moment to share something that's close to my heart. Far too often, we keep our emotions and thoughts bottled up, feeling alone and believing that our struggles are a burden to others. We think that by keeping quiet, we're sparing those around us from our pain, but in reality, we're only hurting ourselves more. We let these unsaid words and hidden emotions fester until it's too late. Until the weight of our silence becomes too heavy to bear. But it doesn't have to be this way. We are loved, we are accepted, and we are welcomed just as we are. Our struggles do not define us, but they are a part of our journey, and sharing them can bring us closer to those who care about us. Having a month dedicated to mental health is a beautiful reminder that it's okay to not be okay. It's a time for us to better ourselves mentally, to learn, to grow, and to open up to our loved ones. But more importantly, it's a reminder that we shouldn't be afraid to reach out and ask for help, to talk about our feelings, and to support each other. Let's use this month as a catalyst for change. Let's talk, let's heal, and let's grow together. Remember, you are never alone, and your emotions are valid. It's time to break the silence and embrace the power of vulnerability.

It provides an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote understanding around mental health issues. By encouraging open conversations, we can support those affected and foster a community that prioritizes mental health just as much as physical health. Let’s take this month to educate ourselves, offer support, and work towards a world where everyone feels empowered to seek help when needed.

We are so excited to share this moment with all of you

Hello, beautiful community.
We know not many people realize we’re here, right in our own hometown of Yuma. We’re a small non-profit offering trauma therapy to those who’ve lived through some of the hardest things.
On April 25th, we’re partnering with The Crossroads Mission for something that means a lot to us, Celebrate the Child.
We’re looking for volunteers.
This isn’t just an event. It’s a chance to stand up for children, to say no to abuse, and to remind every child that you are seen, you are heard, and you are deeply valued.
You are probably asking by now, how can you help? Well, we are truly grateful for anything, even you taking the time to read our post. We need hands to make this day the best day possible the children in our community

We've poured our hearts into this special event, created with so much love in partnership with The Crossroads Mission, and we are truly filled with joy to finally share it.
