Medicine, Emergency Services and After-Hours Urgent Care. With more than 850 dedicated team members, Lane is the largest employer within the city of Zachary. ✨✨🎄 Another of the Zachary Chamber Elves Made Stops at the Lane Clinics! 🎄✨

Another cheerful Chamber Elf was back in town—and he spent the day visiting employees across our Lane clinics!

This elf had his heart checked at FastLane, his lungs checked at Lane Allergy, an ultrasound at Lane OB/GYN, his height and weight measured at Lane Pediatrics, prepped for a colonoscopy at Lane Gastroenterology and had a quick, simple skin sample taken at Lane Surgery Group. He learned that his rosy cheeks are due to rosacea at Lane Dermatology—but that's perfectly normal for an elf. Whew! What a busy day!

Thank you to our incredible clinic staff for joining in the holiday spirit and making his adventure so memorable!

✨🎄 **Our Zachary Chamber Elf Had a Big Day!** 🎄✨

Our little Elf made her way through the hospital, spreading holiday cheer everywhere she went! From playful poses to festive “on-the-job” moments, each department added its own creative touch—proving once again that holiday spirit is alive and well here at Lane.

She popped into meetings, tried out a few uniforms, helped “work” the floors, and brought plenty of smiles along the way. Thanks to all our teams for welcoming her with such fun and imagination!

We were honored to welcome Dr. James “Jim” Decker back to Lane! 👏

Dr. Decker — former CEO and senior executive of five hospitals, health systems, and a regional blood center — recently toured our new tower with Liz Sagely, Director of the Lane Foundation, and Jon Hirsch, Director of Marketing.

A Zachary native, Dr. Decker began his healthcare career at Lane as an orderly. He visited his hometown this week as the guest speaker for the Rotary Club of Zachary. Now retired and living in Tennessee, Dr. Decker is the author of "Reviving the Heart of Leadership," a powerful read for healthcare leaders centered on compassion and servant leadership.

Lane Regional Medical Center CEO, Frank Corcoran, and Chief Strategic Initiatives Officer, LJ Baker, had the privilege of attending Southern University’s press conference welcoming their new head football coach — NFL Hall of Famer, Marshall Faulk!

The excitement didn’t stop there — SU legends Aeneas Williams and Avery Johnson were also in attendance, making the day even more memorable.

Due to expected inclement weather, the Lane Foundation’s Holiday Lights at Lane kickoff has been moved to Thursday, December 11th from 5:30–7:30 p.m. 🎄
