As we recognize National Healthcare Quality Week, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible work of our team and reflect on a recent milestone that underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Earlier this year, Lane Regional Medical Center earned a 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in the 2025 Care Compare report, a distinction achieved by only 762 hospitals nationwide, and the only one in our region!

This recognition reflects our ongoing focus on:
✅ Safe and effective care
✅ Positive patient experiences
✅ Timely treatment
✅ Lower hospital readmission rates

We’re proud to celebrate this achievement during a week dedicated to healthcare quality, and we’re even prouder of the team that makes it possible every day. Thank you to our staff and community for your continued trust and partnership in health.

✨ What a Night! ✨
Team Lane showed up in full force at the Zachary Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Night held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church gym—and what an evening it was!

Jassoni Martin, PharmD, our Director of Pharmacy and Retail Services, gave a moving presentation on her Leadership North team’s fundraising project supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Through their creative “Battle of the Businesses” pastalaya cook-off, they raised over $7,000 for childhood cancer awareness. Incredible work!

Congratulations to Thomas Scott, Chairman of Lane’s Board of Commissioners, for receiving the Minority-Owned Business of the Year Award for his work as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.

Lane Regional Medical Center was also honored with the “People’s Choice” Award for Best in Healthcare and Wellness Services—a testament to the care and commitment we provide every day.

A big shout-out to Frank Corcoran and Jassoni Martin for being sworn in as members of the Chamber’s 2025 Board.

The night was filled with great food, meaningful connections, and community spirit. We’re proud to be part of the Zachary Chamber and to support local business and growth in our region.
