Oakwood would like to extend our sincere thanks to The City of Downtown Zachary for hosting the 2nd Annual Zachary’s Salute to Veterans Parade, to The Bank Of Zachary and Lane Regional Medical Center for the touching Veterans Day & Flag Raising Ceremony, and to Compassus Hospice for the beautiful Pinning Ceremony honoring our veterans.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to take part in these special events celebrating the bravery, service, and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes.

Thank you for including Oakwood in these meaningful tributes to our veterans!

Join us for the 2nd Annual Zachary’s Salute to Veterans Parade on Tuesday, November 11th at 9:00 AM!

Let’s line the streets, wave your flags, and cheer on our veterans as they ride through the parade route in classic and antique cars. Let’s come together as a community to honor and thank those who have bravely served our country! ❤️🤍💙
