If you do not currently have insurance our case managers can assist you.

We were proud to stand alongside so many incredible partners offering recovery support, community resources, and more to help save lives and strengthen our community. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when organizations come together with one goal—supporting recovery and preventing overdose. 🌟

We are thrilled to announce that Jessica Gurwin has joined Cairn Recovery Resources as our new Chief Development Officer!

Jessica brings over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, with a passion for building partnerships that drive positive, data-driven outcomes across criminal justice systems, healthcare, and community initiatives. She has been a leading advocate, educator, and collaborator throughout Ohio—working to expand equitable access to care, educate professionals and clients on the science of addiction and craving, and design impactful reentry programs that change lives.

Outside of her professional work, Jessica enjoys traveling, seeing live music, and spending time with her teenage daughter. 🎶✈️💙

🌟 A Morning of Hope 🌟

This past weekend, our CAIRN team had the privilege of attending the Second Annual Morning of Hope event, hosted by OpenDoor Women’s Recovery Alliance. 💜

OpenDoor is a grassroots nonprofit in Columbus dedicated to helping women in recovery—especially those transitioning from treatment or incarceration. They provide a one-year program of free services including mentorship, advocacy, companionship, and resources to support long‐term recovery.

We were inspired by their mission to foster holistic healing and renewed purpose. It was a beautiful day of connection, encouragement, and community strength.

Thank you, OpenDoor, for doing such meaningful work and for bringing us together in hope and healing.

Meet Julia Millirans, one of our dedicated Counselors here at Cairn Recovery Resources! Julia joined our team in March 2025, and we’re so grateful for the compassion and joy she brings to her work every day. 💜

✨ What inspired her to work in recovery services?
“One of my core beliefs is that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Due to stigma, people in recovery or active addiction are too often told they don’t matter. I want to help change that.”

✨ Her favorite part about Cairn:
“The amazing team we have! I always feel supported and appreciated by both coworkers and management.”
