We are THRILLED to introduce you to our AMAZING team of clinicians here at Sol Therapy LLC! We wanted to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about each of them and the important role they provide for us at Sol!
Kelly Henry (Owner/Operator): Kelly, LISW-S and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, is the owner of Sol Therapy LLC with over 20 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse services. She has worked across community mental health, inpatient and outpatient facilities, treatment centers, and Day Treatment programs, with a philosophy centered on self-empowerment and quality of life. Recently certified in yoga, Kelly integrates mindfulness and meditation into her therapeutic approach, offering hope and support to those she serves. Kelly also provides EMDR therapy for patients at Sol Therapy.
Elizabeth Knicely (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner): Elizabeth (Liz) is a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. She specializes in supporting trauma survivors and those struggling with anxiety or depression, using a holistic approach that combines medication management, supplements, and lifestyle modifications. Liz provides both in-person and virtual care, and is dedicated to creating individualized treatment plans and building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients.
Lisa West (Therapist): Lisa is a dedicated therapist who takes pride in supporting clients with authenticity and compassion, helping them feel seen and encouraged. She has experience working with individuals, families, couples, and children, as well as those struggling with addiction, using approaches such as inner child healing, strengths-based therapy, CBT, and IFS/parts work. Passionate about growth, Lisa continues to expand her knowledge to better serve and connect with those she works with.
Raegan Gallagher (Therapist): Raegan, a licensed social worker, is passionate about supporting teens and young children through empathy, trust, and empowerment. With a BSW from Capital University, she focuses on helping young people build resilience, self-esteem, and the skills to overcome challenges. Dedicated to advocacy, Raegan strives to ensure vulnerable populations have the guidance and resources they need to thrive.
Sarah Cunningham (Therapist): Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 12 years of experience in mental health, holding a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation. She has worked across diverse settings, including inpatient care, crisis intervention, and outpatient therapy, serving clients of all ages with a focus on teens and adults. Passionate about empowerment, Sarah is dedicated to helping individuals become the best versions of themselves.
James Sowers (Therapist): James Sowers is a social work professional with over 20 years of experience supporting diverse populations through crisis intervention, developmental disability services, and elder care. He has worked in roles ranging from Crisis Center Technician and Partial Hospitalization Therapist to managing Medicaid waiver programs for individuals with disabilities and older adults. Committed to compassionate care, James focuses on helping vulnerable populations access the resources they need to live safely and independently.
Julie Wells (Therapist): Julie holds a Master of Science in Social Work from Ohio University and is working toward her LISW licensure. She is passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults facing challenges such as ADHD, trauma, anxiety, substance use, and self-esteem concerns, drawing on her experience addressing social determinants of health. Currently practicing in a school-based setting, Julie integrates mindfulness into her therapeutic work and is training a therapy dog to further support her clients.
Jessica Brenneman (Therapist): Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and heard. She specializes in helping individuals facing substance use, trauma, and life stressors, using CBT and DBT techniques to foster resilience and growth. Guided by the belief that every person matters, Jessica empowers clients to embrace healing and discover that their struggles do not define them.
Megan Jones (Therapist): Megan is a licensed social worker with degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Ohio University, committed to serving individuals in the Appalachian region. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on individual and family systems while fostering empathy, advocacy, and healthy relationships. Passionate about supporting others, Megan strives to create a safe, empowering space for healing and growth.
Lauren Green (Therapist): Lauren is a Licensed Social Worker with experience supporting individuals of all ages, from children to older adults. She takes a client-centered, strengths-based approach, meeting people where they are to provide compassionate and relevant care. Passionate about trust and empowerment, Lauren works collaboratively with clients to foster resilience, meaningful growth, and lasting change.
Krysten Smart (Student Therapist / Office Manager): Krysten’s journey into social work has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences, teaching her that growth is possible even in life’s most challenging moments. As Office Manager and an MSW intern, she greets clients, listens to their needs, and helps match them with the right therapist, bringing compassion, purpose, and support to every interaction. Krysten is dedicated to creating a warm, caring environment where clients feel seen, honored, and empowered to tap into their inner strength.
