Are you and your loved ones prepared for the winter storm? With the current predictions of snow and ice accumulation, travel could be impeded for many for several days. You should also be prepared for power outages lasting extended periods of time.

Please take a moment to check in on your family, friends and neighbors. Do they have food, water and medications on hand? Are their devices/electronics charged? Are extra blankets and supplies handy?

If it is unsafe for you to travel, care givers, supply drivers and meal delivery options will also struggle to provide normal services.

Be prepared now!! ❄️

** Important Update Regarding Aetna Coverage **

Please note the recent correction from Aetna regarding a mistake they made in letters sent out stating that Dr. Williams is out of network. This information was incorrect—Dr. Williams is in-network for all Aetna plans.

Aetna is also sending retraction letters to anyone who received the original incorrect notification.

We encourage you to share this update widely, especially as active enrollment is nearing its end on December 7. Thank you for helping us ensure this information reaches everyone who needs it.

Congratulations to our Lab Team for earning COLA's highest commendation for outstanding quality, patient safety and overall performance!

We were the first private practice in the region to have an in-house laboratory, started by my father, Joe Goggin, MD and Denise Williams, our longstanding Lab Director more than 30 years ago! Doc and Denise built it from the ground up and made it the best lab around. With Denise's recent retirement, we've handed the reins to the capable Cassy Dyer as our new Director and she's been outstanding. We also have two excellent lab techs who have been working with us for more than 20yrs each (won't name names :)) and the best team of phlebotomists in the area. Thanks again for all you do for our patients!

The 2025 Medicare Annual Election period end on Dec 7, 2024. All PGSEO providers will remain in network with the following plans:

Aetna Medicare
Anthem Medicare
Humana Medicare
Medigold (Mt Carmel)
United Healthcare Medicare.

It has come to our attention that there have been some recent mailing from Aetna indicating some of our providers will be out of network for 2025. This is INCORRECT information.

If you have any questions about our network participation, please contact our office at 740-455-3304.

If you need assistance selecting the best option for your Medicare coverage in 2025, we recommend contacting a local broker.
