POWER RESTORE

To find balance on the inside and the outside, we need REST just as much as we need MOVEMENT. Drawing upon 5 Element Theory and the principles of interval training, this heart themed class creatively intertwines a strong vinyasa practice with deeply restorative modalities to increase heart rate variability, optimize vagal tone and encourage homeostasis within the body.
It allows the body to adeptly move between the sympathetic (fight or flight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system in one comprehensive practice, and it facilitates our deep human potential for self-regulation and healing. It’s how we foster our resilience - physically, mentally, and emotionally.
MYOFASCIAL YIN
Tuesday, 1/20, 5:45-7pm
In this class, we’ll combine myofascial release + yin yoga to reduce tension, improve mobility, and support recovery. Using therapy balls and targeted techniques, you’ll apply sustained pressure to help soften fascial restrictions, reduce chronic pain, ease muscular guarding, and restore healthier range of motion. We’ll then transition into longer-held, prop-supported yin shapes to downshift the nervous system, deepen breathing, and integrate the benefits throughout the whole body.
