Meet our new nurse practitioner Leikyn!
Leikyn DalPonte was born and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. After high school, she attended The Ohio State University earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Pediatric Primary Care. After practicing as an RN in pediatric primary care, she joined Zanesville Pediatrics to pursue her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Leikyn is certified through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board.
Leikyn has a special interest in providing patient-centered care with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention. Specializing in pediatric primary care, she enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients and their families, watching them grow from infancy through early adulthood. Leikyn’s goal is to empower young children to become active participants in their own healthcare and assist her patients in developing healthy lifestyle habits, ultimately setting the foundation for every child to achieve lifelong health and wellness.
Leikyn is eager to give back to the community in which she was raised by providing equitable, evidence-based healthcare to children and families here in Zanesville.
