I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. — We see this verse a LOT during pregnancy in reference to our babies, don’t we? But do we ever flip it to describe ourselves during pregnancy?
WE are fearfully and wonderfully made— perfectly designed to grow and bring life into this world. Why would we doubt His plan?

How is it already February? I'm still not convinced that 2020 ever ended.

February 1 marks the beginning of Black History Month. It's hard to be in this corner of birth work without knowing at least a little bit about the horrible treatment of black women throughout the years.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They have been used, abused, and ignored for so long. Especially within obstetric care.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'd like to start this month off with a book recommendation for anyone who would like to learn more about how black women carried American medical progress forward, against their will.

What is a Naturopath?

A Naturopath is a health consultant that provides care through natural methods such as nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle modification.
