ELS is an ABA provider in Ottawa County. At ELS, we thrive on providing individualized home-based therapy for each client. We believe in equitable access to quality ABA services for all clients and their families. Please send me a DM if you are interested in part-time employment as a behavior technician.

Pay:
$20.00-25.00 per hour

Schedule:
Monday-Friday
Self-determined schedule
Weekend availability

ABA Behavior Technician & RBT responsibilities:
1. Staff will work in the home with children on the Autism Spectrum to provide ABA therapy under the direct supervision of a QBHP or BCBA.
2. Responsible for charting and collecting data on the improvement or lack thereof progress in the child's abilities. Also, keep records of preferred positive reinforcements for the child.
3. Staff must articulate feedback on current progress, and implement programs, and recommendations given by the supervising QBHP/BCBA.
4. Staff will incorporate feedback as instructed by the QBHP/BCBA.

ABA Behavior Technician Requirements:
1. High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, social work, sociology, special education, or a related field is preferred.
2. Previous experience working with children is required. Experience with Special Needs is a plus.
3. Training is provided. Must be able to complete 40 hours of online training in Autism. ALL training
4. Must have reliable transportation and valid car insurance.
5. Need to be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
6. Looking for creative, hard-working, reliable individuals with a passion for helping children.
7. Must be able to follow through with an individualized behavior plan.
8. The employee must be able to able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
9. Required to perform activities that entail: fine motor skills, kneeling, sitting on floor level, or standing.

We believe in equitable access to quality training, mentorship, professional growth, and support for all team members at ELS.

ABA Therapy:
Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy increase's an individual's quality of life through comprehensive and individualized services provided by highly qualified behavior technicians, RBTs, and clinicians. ABA is a science of behavior; positive reinforcement and techniques like antecedents, management strategies, and replacement skills are used and taught to increase appropriate behaviors in multiple environments.
