ABA Therapy:
Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy increase's an individual's quality of life through comprehensive and individualized services provided by highly qualified behavior technicians, RBTs, and clinicians. ABA is a science of behavior; positive reinforcement and techniques like antecedents, management strategies, and replacement skills are used and taught to increase appropriate behaviors in multiple environments.
ABA Behavior Technician & RBT responsibilities:
- Staff will work in the home with children on the Autism Spectrum to provide ABA therapy under the direct supervision of a QBHP or BCBA.
- Responsible for charting and collecting data on the improvement or lack thereof progress in the child's abilities. Also, keep records of preferred positive reinforcements for the child.
- Staff must articulate feedback on current progress, implement programs, and recommendations given by the supervising QBHP/BCBA.
- Staff will incorporate feedback as instructed by the QBHP/BCBA.

ABA Behavior Technician Requirements:
-High school diploma. Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, social work, sociology, special education, or a related field is required preferred.
- Previous experience working with children is required. Experience with Special Needs is a plus.
- Training is provided. Must be able to complete 40 hours of online training in Autism.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid car insurance.
- Need to be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
- Looking for creative, hard-working, reliable individuals with a passion for helping children.
- Must be able to follow through with an individualized behavior plan.
- The employee must be able to able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
- Required to perform activities that entail: fine motor skills, kneeling, sitting on floor level, or standing.
