Bringing back the oldies with an old song sing-along... We all enjoyed triggering our memories with fun old songs like Ain't We Got Fun, Cuddle Up a Little Closer, Second Hand Rose, When You Wore a Tulip, and April Showers. We could see the wheels turning as the memories started flooding back. Thank you, everyone, for the fun.

What is Sjoelbak shuffleboard? The English definition is table shuffleboard. It originated in the Netherlands in the late 1900s. Just one of the fun games we play at Royal Park Place and a lot more difficult than it looks. Good job Beth.

Yesterday was World Pancreatic Cancer Day—a crucial opportunity to spread awareness about pancreatic cancer. 💜 According to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, pancreatic cancer has the highest mortality rate of all major cancers and is the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the U.S., following lung and colon cancer.

Let’s remember those affected by pancreatic cancer, honor the brave survivors, and keep them in our hearts and prayers.

Bernard Mulder, his wife Genevieve, and their daughter Brenda were delighted to join with First Christian Reformed Church parishioners John & Dorie Rietsma, Shirley Klingenberg, and Marilyn DeKock. Sadly, Marilyn’s husband Jim passed away very recently, but Marilyn was happy to have her son, Dan DeKock, join her for lunch with this lovely group of people.
