Help Me Grow connects families with children birth through age five to free local resources helping children grow up healthy and ready to succeed in school. We’d love to have you participate so that we can better support you and your child. Some of the supports Help Me Grow provides include:

- Up-to-date information on childcare, kindergarten tips and free or low-cost quality preschool
- Free and

convenient access to the nationally recognized Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) in English and Spanish to check-in on your child’s development
- Answers to prenatal and pregnancy questions
- Links to local playgroups, library happenings and other parenting resources including home visiting services

If you or your child’s teachers, caregivers, or doctors have concerns about your child’s behavior, development, learning or well-being, call 844-233-2244 or visit www.hmgottawa.org. We will connect you to helpful services and supports in your community. These materials were developed under a grant awarded by the Michigan Department of Education. Toddlers are such a joy and sometimes such a challenge! This workshop will examine how toddlers develop self-control and addresses behaviors such as biting and tantrums. Leave with a greater understanding of your toddler and strategies for creating a supportive environment.

Preschool families will enjoy an open house–style visit, while Young 5’s & Kindergarten families will attend a parent information meeting with time for questions.
