Dr Langellier came to SIMIO today for oral scans. This sweet patient wanted to tell him her story today before we got started. She has been a patient since December and has made a huge transformation. Here is some good respiration footage from this morning. It is a great view of someone that has limitations on both chest walls for inhalation but in this case is more restricted on the left chest and Wes could feel it. Apical expansion is not the most objective test, but is a great tool to show a patient how to feel that there are differences between the ability to breathe on either side ESPECIALLY if we are relating this to stance and swing phase of gait or dominant postural patterns in the body.
