Here’s my Story ....

I was dumped in a Long Island shelter by my owner and was VERY unhappy. I was nervous and unsure of my new environment but also very sweet and happy to meet new friends. I am a big boy with a big head and an even bigger heart. 💙

My shelter mommy knew she had to get me out so I could learn to behave like a gentleman and so after 2 YEARS living in a cage, I made my way to CT to her friend Jen. I have been working on my manners and behaving around other animals as well as getting lots of love and play time (my FAVORITE activity) 😁

I am ready for a home and ready to find my new family. I need someone who understands dog behavior and how to handle a big boy like me. A family with land for me to run on and who will give me the extra time I need to succeed. I am super smart, super handsome and LOVE people. I also love learning and am eager to please ... especially for peanut butter!

I live with my wonderful boarding /trainer in Connecticut. I have been working on being the best boy I can be and now I’m READY for a family🤗

Madison is very social towards the people that are always around her, and she is not always comfortable with meeting strangers. She introduces well to new people when she is with those that she is comfortable with. Madison did have a short stay in in three adopted homes and was returned to us when they didn't work out. Madison needs a single adult home and she needs to be kept confined by herself when new people come over. Madison will love her person as deep as any love can be, but she does not want to share that love with others in a home. Madison has been dog selective in meeting dogs at the shelter; we recommend her to be in an only dog home. Come meet this beautiful girl a few times to see if she could be your other half!!
