Why is it so hard to forgive someone who’s hurt you?

Because sometimes…
you’re not just forgiving what happened —
you’re grieving what could have been.

It’s the pain of lost potential.
The version of the relationship you kept hoping for.
The mother, the friend, the partner you wished they could be.

Forgiveness isn’t about pretending it didn’t hurt.
It’s about accepting that the story won’t change —
but you can.

Healing your inner child means making peace with the version of love you never received,
and giving that love to yourself now. 🌿

Depression has a way of convincing you that your thoughts are facts.
It whispers,
“Nothing will ever change.”
“You’re not good enough.”
“No one really cares.”

And after hearing those thoughts long enough, you start to believe them.

But here’s the truth — depression lies.
It distorts the way we see ourselves, others, and the world.
That’s where CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) comes in.

CBT helps you slow down and notice those automatic negative thoughts — the ones that play in the background like a broken record.
It teaches you to question them instead of accepting them.
To ask,
“Is this thought true?”
“Is there another way to see this?”
And slowly, thought by thought, the fog begins to lift.

Healing isn’t about forcing positivity — it’s about learning to see reality more clearly, and treating yourself with compassion in the process. 🌿

If your mind feels heavy today, remember — your thoughts are not facts. And you are not your depression. 💛

Many of us, especially in cultures where appearances and approval mean everything, learned to dim our light to belong.
But your light was never too much — it was just too real for a world still learning to embrace authenticity. 🌿

Healing means reclaiming your worth — without the titles, validation, or applause.
It means breaking the barriers that taught you to doubt yourself.
It means saying:
“I am more than the labels. I am enough as I am.”
