Stress can show up in many different ways, and it is not always easy to recognize.

You might notice it physically through headaches, muscle tension, trouble sleeping, or feeling constantly tired. Emotionally, stress can look like irritability, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unmotivated. It can also affect your focus, making it harder to concentrate or stay organized.

Everyone experiences stress differently, and your signs may not look like someone elseโ€™s. Paying attention to how stress shows up for you is the first step toward taking care of yourself.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, you are not alone. Support is here when you need it.

World Health Day is a great reminder that health is more than just physical. Your mental and emotional well-being matter too.

Stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue affect how we sleep, move, and feel each day.

Take a moment today to check in with yourself.
Are you getting the support you need?
Are you giving yourself time to rest and recharge?

Small steps make a big difference.

Talk with someone, move your body, practice mindfulness, or just take a few deep breaths.

Your mental health is part of your overall health. What helps you reset today?

April 2 is Autism Awareness Day.

At The Cabin, we believe in creating a community where every individual feels seen, supported, and valued. Autism is a spectrum, and each personโ€™s experience is unique.

Today is a reminder to listen, learn, and lead with understanding.

We encourage moving beyond awareness to acceptance by embracing differences, showing kindness, and supporting individuals and families in meaningful ways.

Together, we can help create a more inclusive and compassionate community.

Therapist Sherrie Bloemendaal, Executive Director Jennie Smith, and our Business Manager, Allison Maines, had the opportunity to visit Harmony Horse and tour their serene property while learning more about their impactful programs. It was inspiring to see firsthand the meaningful work being done, including the equine assisted therapy Sherrie is providing.

The evening also gave space for great conversation and brainstorming around future collaboration.

We are grateful for partners who share a heart for healing and are excited about what is ahead.

World Bipolar Day, observed on March 30 in honor of Vincent van Goghโ€™s birthday, is dedicated to raising awareness and inspiring a shift in how bipolar disorder is understood around the world. This day encourages open conversation, reduces stigma, and highlights the importance of education, compassion, and access to care.

Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition that involves shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels, often impacting daily life, relationships, and overall well-being. With the right support, treatment, and understanding, individuals living with bipolar disorder can lead meaningful and fulfilling lives.

At The Cabin, we are committed to providing compassionate, accessible mental health care and creating a safe space where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered in their journey. World Bipolar Day is a reminder that mental health matters every day, and no one has to navigate it alone.

If you or someone you know is struggling, we encourage you to reach out, start a conversation, and seek support. Together, we can continue to build a more understanding and supportive community.

You are the greatest project you will ever work on.

Restart. Refocus. Begin again as many times as you need. Growth is not linear, and every step forward, no matter how small, matters.

Give yourself the same patience and care you offer to others

We love our time with Student Impact and are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with them through their G.I.R.L.S. program ๐Ÿ’›

Last Tuesday, Caroline, an intern therapist from our Westfield office, spent the day at The Rock, pouring into middle school girls and leading conversations around self-esteem, self-love, and what it truly looks like to value yourself. It was a meaningful time of connection, encouragement, and lifting each other up.

We are so thankful for partners like Student Impact who care deeply about the next generation and create spaces where students feel seen, known, and loved.
