There is nothing better than babies. 💕

We recently had a baby shower at Zionsville Meadows, and our memory care residents absolutely loved holding these sweet little ones. Moments like this bring so much joy and comfort.

Alzheimer’s and dementia are such complex and devastating diseases, but experiences like this remind us that even in the midst of loss, there can still be beautiful silver linings.

Thank you so much to Nursery Project for making our residents’ day so special. 💗

Meet Judith.

She admitted to Zionsville Meadows after a hospital stay for rehabilitation including Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Initially, Judith required minimal assistance with transfers, ambulation and self care with decreased strength, activity tolerance and standing balance. Through skilled intervention, Judith progress to INDEPENDENCE with transfers and ambulation AND both without assistive devices. Due to her progress she was able to return home with family and able to walk and perform activities of daily living with independence and significant improvement in quality of life. She discharged home a happier and healthier individual due to successful participation in all inclusive rehabilitation services.
