Cecilia N. Penn, M.D., MPH, FAAP

Dr. Penn is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Partners 4Kids provides holistic and comprehensive primary care by combining medical and allied health disciplines to promote the well-being of children from birth through adolescence. Dr. Penn received her college education at Cornell University, where she obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Biology and Society in May 1997. With a focus on primary care and preventive medicine in under-served communities, she obtained her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine in May 2001. Dr. Penn completed her post-graduate training in pediatrics at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia University, where she also received specialty training in Community Pediatrics through the Anne E. Dyson Community Pediatrics Program. She obtained further training in Preventive Medicine and obtained a Master in Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management/International Health from The Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in June 2006. To achieve practical experience in public health/health policy, Dr. Penn received the distinguished Luther Terry Fellowship within the Office of the Surgeon General and worked in the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, DC. Dr. Penn is committed to practicing community pediatrics, improving quality care, serving the under-served, and working towards systemic changes that affect health status. She now serves as a private practice Pediatrician and as the Performance Improvement Physician for Schneider Regional Medical Center and she enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her family, and exercising in her free time.

And that’s a wrap!! We’ve completed 2 successful flu clinic drives with Antilles School; helping students, families, and faculty get protected against this year’s flu. Thank you Antilles School, for your partnership and commitment to keeping our community healthy!

We are seeing a lot of flu A cases. If you havent received your flu shot yet, now is the perfect time before the holiday season. We have 6 flu vaccines left!
