We couldn’t wait for the full video… so we’re sharing this now 💕
Yesterday was really special. We had our girlfriend, Michelle Turnbull who flew in from New York to St. Thomas Carnival… and then took another plane to St. Croix just to be in space with us (that’s love!). And what made it even more beautiful was this…she wasn’t walking into a room of strangers.
She connected with new girlfriends like Lorie Richards, whom she met in person for the first time but has been growing with through our monthly Girlfriendism mixers; Laura Forbes and Maudiana John-Baptiste, whom she’s shared space with at our intimate Girlfriendism retreats. Makeda Kamara Genevieve Whitaker and CeCe whom she met for the first time yet immediately dropped into conversations with and a new found girlfriend turned cousin (small world!) Nicky Turnbull!
So when we all came together, it wasn’t awkward. It felt familiar, easy and quite at home. Friendships are not instantaneous - they build over time and yesterday was a testimony to what happens when connection is intentional, communication is consistent and our hearts are open to receive love.
From virtual conversations to in-person experiences and shared movement, laughter, and real conversations about life, business, and purpose…
This is how we build something that’s genuine. Something that travels. Something that lasts.
