December 2025 recap

🏡Trip home to Indiana ❤️ The cold was refreshing and cozy.

There was SNOW! ❄️ and lots of sweet family and friend time 👯‍♀️ Ezra loves the snow! Zula liked it enough lol. (She’s not so sure about the cold, like her dada.)

☃️There was snow tubing, pie making, game nights, and a visit to my family chiropractor since childhood (Morter Health Center in Carmel, IN).

Not pictured: all the time I soaked up with my nieces and nephews (including two new additions!!! Newborn twin boy and girl👶🏻👶🏻)

Also not pictured: more system upgrades (sniffles, vomit, rashes, and more, you know the usual 🤪). It was exhausting. And I’m also thankful for the hard resets when our bodies shift in to healing and cleansing mode)

Honestly, not feeling the Gregorian New Year at Jan 1. May vibe with the Lunar new year?!

November was not sexy. Lots of bodily upgrades (aka “illnesses” of all kinds) made their way through our systems. We all “cleansed” our gut, our skin, and our lungs.

Kept life simple and cuddly as we prioritized rest and recovery. Our adjustment table was permanently up all of November lol.

Lots of Nature connection.

Ezra started making his Christmas list. His handwriting is adorable.

Grateful for our knowledge around natural health and the body’s innate intelligence.

(And now we are ready for fun! …. Just as soon as my latest upgrade passes🫠😘)

🌀Holiday gatherings can activate old patterns without warning. This year, instead of dropping into old roles, come home to your body. Get curious.

🤓Notice what happens as you move through conversations.
Notice who you lean into and who you lean away from.
Notice where your breath widens and where it gets smaller.
Notice the rush of energy in your legs, the warmth in your heart, the tightening in your solar plexus.

💚Who softens your shoulders.
Who speeds up your heart.
Who creates space in your chest.
Who makes your throat feel small.

📖None of this is a problem.
All of this is information.

⚡️Your energy system and nervous system are responding to every energy in the room.
Not to punish and torment you.
To teach and inform you.

❤️And sometimes the guidance is this simple.
You have grown. You have evolved.
You are no longer activated by the things that once overwhelmed you.

💜And sometimes your system is still metabolizing an old pattern. That’s ok too. Give it all equal value. And let it be a quiet celebration inside your body.

🌀 You’ve done the mindset work. You’ve read the books. You’ve listened to the podcasts. But if you’re still cycling through burnout, exhaustion, and disconnection, it’s not because you’re broken. It’s because the change hasn’t reached the root.

The root? Your energetic system. You see, your energetic system creates your nervous system > Your nervous system builds your body.

So if you want to heal the body > heal the nervous system and better yet > clear your energy field for the most sustainable change downstream in the body and in your life.

BodyAwake Yoga is not another quick fix. It meets you at the level of your energy, the field that creates your nervous system. When you shift there, the healing ripples through your physical, emotional, and mental body.

🌛When I’m not caring for patients or for my two littles, I’m guiding people out of their minds and back into their bodies, where their power, peace, and intuition live.

We are passionate about teaching you to thrive harmoniously!

Dr. Loriann Laugle is a family wellness chiropractor in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands at Williams Family Chiropractic and in Indianapolis, Indiana. She specializes in neuro-emotional healing with an emphasis on women, pediatrics, and pregnant women. Inspired by an upbringing rooted in natural health, she completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic, where she also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology.

“Dr. L’s” extensive training allows her to see the whole person and comprehensively evaluate and care for individuals and families of all ages:
