A Story of Strength, Compassion, and Excellence!

When baby Auria arrived earlier than expected, our Maternal and Child Health team at the BVI Health Services Authority stepped in with expertise, care, and heart. From the delivery room to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, our dedicated professionals went above and beyond to ensure that both mother and baby received the best possible care every step of the way.

Today, this beautiful family shares their journey…a touching testament to the skill, dedication, and compassion of our healthcare team.

At the BVIHSA, we take pride in delivering Only Excellence through every moment of care. 💙

Virgin Gorda Field Hospital

Your care continues — right here on Virgin Gorda.

While repairs are underway at the Nurse Iris O’Neal Clinic, the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has established a temporary Field Hospital to ensure residents continue to receive safe, high-quality care without interruption.

In this short video, our team guides you through how to access services, where to check in, and what to expect when visiting the temporary facility. From general consultations to allied health services, our dedicated professionals remain here for you, delivering care with the same compassion and excellence you trust.

Your health matters and so does your peace of mind.
Because at BVIHSA, only excellence counts.

A Symphony of Guardians by the BVI Health Services Authority

Infection Prevention: It Starts with Us!

As part of our Infection Prevention and Control Week of activities this year, our team came together for something a little different, a creative collaboration featuring an original poem written and performed by BVIHSA staff across various departments.

Through poetry, they remind us that infection prevention is everyone’s responsibility, from hand hygiene and proper waste disposal to the wards and administration; every role counts in keeping our patients, staff, and community safe.

Even though IPC Week has passed, the message remains timeless:
Clean hands. Safe care. Only Excellence Counts. 💙

Watch and share this special performance by our team as we StandUPP for infection prevention and control.

World Food Day 2025 - Better Food, Better Health, Better Future‼

In alignment with our strategic priority of Smarter Care Delivery, Team BVIHSA is taking Health Education beyond the clinic and straight into the community! 💪

Today, the BVI Health Services Authority proudly joined the World Food Day Market & Food Fair, hosted by the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.

Our Primary Healthcare Team engaged the community with interactive sessions on healthy nutrition and mental wellbeing, highlighting how the foods we eat influence both our physical and emotional health. 💚

The energy was high, the conversations were meaningful, and our commitment to promoting healthier lifestyles was front and center.

Together, we’re building a Virgin Islands where good food, good health, and good living go hand in hand! 🤝

Congratulations to Kia Soares, who won our Jump Rope competition with 312 skips and walked away with a round-trip Speedys ticket.
